Advance Refunding
On February 25, 2021, Senator Roger Wicker (MS) introduced bipartisan legislation, LOCAL Infrastructure Act (S. 479), to restore tax-exempt advance refunding, which allows state and local governments to refinance existing debt at lower rates. Read the one-pager on the bill.
