Funding Snapshot

The bill appropriates $43.426 billion for the Clean Water and Drinking Water State Revolving Funds (SRFs) over the next five years (2022 - 2026).

Clean Water SRF 

• All Projects: $11.713 billion

• Emerging Contaminants: $1 billion

Drinking Water SRF:

• Lead Service Line Replacement: $15 billion

Reauthorization

The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act also included the Drinking Water and Wastewater Act of 2021, which passed the U.S. Senate by a vote of 89 - 2 on April 29, 2021. Learn more about the bill.
